Teddy Gabbart has met the educational technology needs of school districts since 1991. With over 25 years of EdTech experience, he has built a reputation of understanding the technology challenges school districts face and finding solutions to solve those issues. He is extremely proud of the team at Gabbart Communications and their dedication to meeting the needs of Educators across the country.
COMPANY HISTORY: In 2003, Teddy began Gabbart Communications, providing Network Management solutions to school districts. In 2006, he was asked by a Superintendent to create a website for teachers to help improve parental involvement. In the spring of 2007, Teddy introduced his Content Management Solution to the first school. Its functionality and ease of use quickly spread across the country and now hundreds of school districts and tens of thousands of teachers use their website to effectively communicate with millions of parents & community members.
PERSONAL HISTORY: Teddy began his EdTech career while in high school in the mid-'80s, where he helped his mother by putting her student’s grades into an Apple IIe Gradebook program. Teddy comes from an education family, where 9 immediate family members are educators. From this environment, he has a great understanding of the technological needs of educators and strives to create tools to enhance the learning experience. He is a graduate of OSU–IT with a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, an Early Childhood Educator, and their three children, Ashton, Alexis, and Adyson.
